Swindon Borough Council are continuing their search for new foster carers.

The council is committed to supporting children to remain living in, or close to, Swindon when they are unable to stay living with their family members.

The athority is looking for carers to help children like Paul and Kim, who can no longer live at home.

Paul said: “I’m Paul and I’m Kim’s big brother. We are brother and sister, and we live in Swindon.

“I say that I’m friendly and just like to be around people that make me happy, that I can play with and make them laugh. It can take me a little bit of time to feel comfortable around new people or if I go to a new place.

“We have always been at home with mummy and our step dad but they fight a lot and we don’t like it when that happens.

“They can be really loud and sometimes things get broken, which is scary. I want to be able to stay with mummy, but we have to live with someone else for a while.

“We would like to find nice, kind and not shouty people to stay with while we can’t be with mummy so we can feel safe and wanted.”

A council spokesperson said: "Could you help siblings like Paul and Kim feel safe and supported by being a Swindon Borough Council foster carer?

"Head to our Fostering page or call 07917 503447 to find out more about what it involves."
