TransWilts Community Rail Partnership joined forces with Great Western Railway to offer a group from Live Well Swindon a train ride with a difference.
Live Well Swindon is a borough council service offering information, signposting and support to help people make the most of their health and wellbeing.
TransWilts Community Rail Partnership promotes community use of stations and services, and a spokesperson said: "During the 45-minute journey from Swindon to Westbury and again on the return journey the dozen played bingo!
"GWR provided a live bingo caller and local businesses donated the prizes. For many of the group it was a welcome day out and for some their first experience of train travel.
"Plans are now being drawn up to run a similar train in the future and take members of the group to the seaside."
