Native Spanish speaker Rodrigo Villegas from Peatmoor is offering Spanish tuition to individuals and groups using a multimedia tool that he has developed himself.

“When I first came to the UK 20 years ago I didn’t speak a word of English,” he said. “The process of learning English as a foreign language, was a useful experience for me in developing a multi-media application to point out some of the best ways to learn a different language.

“The tool includes sound recordings of words in Spanish which enables pupils to practice pronunciation".

When he came to Swindon Rodrigo worked initially for Motorola as an application production engineer. Then, following his passion for golf, from 2002 to 2006 he lived and worked in Antequera in southern Spain where he was involved in the design and creation of the golf course.

His private tuition is aimed at those learning Spanish for studies, business, as a second language, or even for getting by on the golf course.
