The charity curry nights every Monday and Tuesday evenings at the Bombay Lounge restaurant at Peatmoor Village Centre in West Swindon, in association with Swindon Link magazine, have raised nearly £50,000 for good causes since they were launched in February 2008.

Proprietor Hanif Robani is pleased to have handed over profits during this time. "It's really great to see groups having a good time socially at the Bombay Lounge. But I must stress, the Monday and Tuesday charity nights are not  exclusive nights just for the groups. Anybody can book a table for an evening out, but they'll know that some of what they're paying for their meal will benefit that evening's good cause. And, of course, you can come back and visit from Wednesday to Sunday; we really look forward to welcoming you."

How much you raise depends on how many people attend on the night.
