Although the rhythmic gymnastic section of the Swindon School of Gymnastics was formed only a year ago, members have already been selected for national teams.

Greendown School student Kate Zammitt, 13, is a member of the South West squad and also the National Junior and Development squad. She spent early April in Portugal competing in a junior international tournament and is now training hard to be selected for the Junior European Championships later in the year.

Club member Becky Jose represented England last year but now trains outside the town.
