Jan Messenger, offering a bespoke service for Christmas

Beckham started the trend for personalised football boots and it's taken some time to be widely available, but a Swindon company is now offering a leather embroidery service.

JMM Embroidery in Cheney Manor have a hi-tech piece of kit which will stitch names, initials and flags onto most makes of sports shoe - on the tongue and sometimes the side.

Just think of a child opening a parcel on Christmas day to find the pair of trainers or football boots he or she has been dreaming about, complete with their name on them.



JMM is run by Jan Messenger who started her business in a bedroom in Freshbrook 16 years ago. Her enterprise is now well known for school wear logos and also for supplying British forces wherever they are posted. Ever used the expression 'been there, done that?' JMM can add: 'we've supplied the T-shirt from Swindon.'
