Head coach Daryl Lipsey with Amanda Cass of sponsors, npower Swindon's ice hockey team, playing out of Link Centre, the npower Wildcats have got their new strip for the 2004/05 season.Home shirts are predominantly white with a grey strip and teal shoulders whilst the away shirts ae black with small white and teal stripe on each sleeve. Players will wear black shorts home and away and feature socks that complement the primary colour of the shirts. Both shirts sport the branding of the club's principal sponsors, npower, one of the UK's top three energy suppliers, part of the RWE group, based in the town at Windmill Hill "We've got one of the best sponsors in Ice Hockey," said Wildcats head coach Daryl Lipsey. "In one form or another, npower have been involved with the sport in the town for over a decade and they are very supportive of our sport. We're extremely grateful for all that they have done and all that they continue to do." With the reversion back to the club's original name comes a re-working of the club's logo. Mark Thompson, for the club said, "much as we all loved the original logo, we thought that it would be a good time to refresh it a bit and bring it up-to-date. As it turned out, one of the original design team responsible for the logo back in 1986 was available and they have done excellent work in updating our image."
