Wiltshire Festival 2004
Blue headline Party in the Park line-up



The Wiltshire Festival Party In The Park returns to Lydiard Country Park on 28th August 2004 with Britain's Chart topping Boy Band BLUE. They'll be performing their stunning one hour live show which recently sold out in major city arenas. This will be one of the few opportunities to see the boys appear live this year.

With two No. 1 albums, three No.1 singles, 2 Brit Awards, 5 million albums and 2.9 million singles, Blue are now officially one of the biggest pop acts not only in the UK but across the globe.

You'll hear the band perform many of their hit songs including, 'All Rise', 'One Love,' 'Guilty,' 'Fly By', 'If You Come Back' and their new single 'Breathe Easy'

Also appearing will be Jamelia, one of the UK's hottest new female performers whose hit singles 'Superstar' and 'Thankyou' have propelled her into stardom. The single 'Thankyou' entered the charts at No 2 and her debut album of the same name, has reached No 4.

Classical Picnic And Proms

On the evening of 27th August, the Park will fill with friends and family relaxing and picnicking to the Classical Picnic and Proms and firework spectacular.

The concert will be performed by the English National Symphony Orchestra and conducted by Jae Alexander. Guest Soprano will be Sarah Ryan, currently starring in the hugely popular London musical 'Jerry Springer ­ The Opera'. Guest Tenor will be Ted Jackson, the opera-singing builder, and runner up of Channel 4's 'Operatunity' programme.

Neil Cooper, Director of Green Arena Events who are the backers of the Festival, said, "We promised that the Wiltshire Festival would be back with a vengeance and believe that our line up of artists will prove it on the day .We do expect a sell out, and recommend early booking to avoid disappointment."

Tickets are available from 9am Friday 16th April from the following outlets.

In Swindon - Oasis Leisure Centre, Link Centre, The Rec at Highworth, Dorcan Recreation Complex, Croft Sports Centre, Health Hydro, Haydon Centre, Broome Manor Golf Complex and Swindon Tourist Information Centre, Regent St.

Tickets are also available from the Tourist Information Centres in Chippenham, Trowbridge and Cirencester.

Party in the Park ticket prices - There is an early bird ticket discount offer, which is valid until 31 May only. These tickets are £24 and £14 for under 10's. Under 3's free. The offer is subject to availability.

Picnic and Proms ­ Early bird tickets are £17.50 and £6 for under 10's. Under 3's free.

There will be a £2 booking fee per ticket
