Photocall for MPs third babe

South Swindon MP Julia Drown and husband Bill Child have named their new baby Ottilie Ellen who was born on Monday 14 July

Ottilie is Julia and Bill's third child; their first child, Ruby Ethel, died aged 7 hours in August 1998; they have a son, Harvey Dexter, who is 3.

Julia paid tribute the people who have looked after her in hospital. "The NHS staff who have cared for us have been wonderful. We have always felt supported and are delighted with our baby."

She added that Harvey Dexter had struck up an immediate friendship with Ottilee.

A delighted Bill said, "Ottilie has a head of dark hair and we're waiting to see if it turns light like mine did as a boy or stays dark as Julia's did. Most of our relatives have detected a strong resemblance of Ottilie to Julia when she was a baby. Like every proud parent, I think our new baby looks just perfect."
