Fancy an ocean row?

Swindonlink.com followed the progress of Swindon's intrepid rower Norman Butler from Westlea as he crossed the Atlantic in his self-built boat christened The Spirit of Swindon throughout last Autumn until he arrived in the Caribbean in January for a joyful reunion with his wife Linda and baby daughter Melissa.

Norman is now setting himself new physical challenges and is selling The Spirit of Swindon with most of its equipment.

The details: Ocean rowing boat, one careful owner, proven performance in arduous conditions. Constructed and fitted out to a high standard, including trailer, 2 sets of oars, very efficient and reliable electrical system (incorporating solar panels with regulator, 2 batteries and battery monitor), watermaker, satellite phone, EPIRB, sea anchor, drogue, VHF radio, tool kit, two GPSs (one with external antenna), charts, two cookers, reverse compass, comprehensive list of spares and all other equipment (excluding liferaft) needed to row across an ocean.
