The huge fundraising effort in aid of Callum Kaye goes into overdrive on 30 August at a family day organised by Link advertiser V Cars.
Entry is free between 10am and 4pm at the Premier Club in Stratton where there will be bouncy castles, dancing displays, face painting, clowns and the GWR Black Thunder.
There are pitches for car boots and vans at £5 and £7.50.
In the evening a ticket only fundraising meal and auction will bring together the Mayor of Swindon, Miss Swindon and local sporting personalities. Tickets cost £10.
Callum, 6, needs pioneering medical treatment in the USA to give him a fighting chance to recover from a severe and malignant medulloblastoma brain tumour. His parents have been told that there is no further NHS treatment available, but they are appealing for up to £300,000 for Callum to undergo treatment.
Callum’s condition has stabilised for the time being and he has started to attend Brimble Hill Special School at North Swindon Learning Campus two days a week and is working hard with his mum and physiotherapist
Jo Reade to build up his strength. In March his legs had to be supported by gaiters. By the end of July he was taking very small steps with help.
