Olympic bronze medal winning archer and team B&Q athlete Alison Williamson made sure members of the Supermarine Bowman Archery Club in Swindon were on target when she joined them for a coaching session on Tuesday 29 April.
She demonstrated the skills that saw her win a bronze medal in Athens in 2004, a feat she is keen to repeat or better when she competes at her fifth Olympic games in Beijing this summer.
Team B&Q consists of Olympians and Paralympians who promote B&Q’s ‘Let’s Do It’ approach at B&Q stores and community events around the country. They also act as mentors to Olympians and Paralympians who work in B&Q stores around the country and are hoping to compete in Beijing in 2008.
