Members of the public are invited to join kite flyers from Germany, USA and all over the UK, at the BEST FREE SHOW IN TOWN, the 18th Swindon Kite Festival, at Lydiard Park, Swindon on the 10/11th May 2008.  

The Festival is returning to Lydiard Park, where it was first held in 1991, after a 5-year break.

All types of kites will be on display, kites of all shapes and sizes, single line, multi line, kite displays.  

On the flying field there will be displays of many spectacular kites, from kite makers from all over the UK, Germany and the USA, and displays of many of the Kites made by members of the organising club; White Horse Kite Flyers.   

Kite traders will be at the event to offer the public advice on the right kite for their needs, also to enable them to join the flying with many experienced kite flyers.

Food Stalls, Coffee Bar, Children's rides.  

The event will be open to the public FREE OF CHARGE!
