Appeal for witnesses after man flags down car and claims to be wounded

Swindon Police are appealing for witnesses following reports of an assault in Queens Drive this morning - Thursday 9 May.

A force spokesperson said in a message to the public: "At around 7.55am a man flagged down a car, claiming he had a knife wound to his hand and to call an ambulance.
"He then  walked off down the path way towards Buckingham Road and Sandringham Road in Lawn.
"If you saw what happened, or can help with our enquiries please contact us on 101 quoting reference number 54240053087.
"Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."?
