For the third year running the Great Western Hospital NHS Trust will be hosting the annual Staff Excellence Awards to recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements, hard work and dedication shown by our staff every day of the year.

There is a new category this year  - the People's Choice Award - which has been designed to recognise the real difference staff make to patients and service users at GWH and in the community.

Have you received great treatment from a team or member of staff? Has a member of staff gone the extra mile in delivering your care? If so then this is your chance to make sure it doesn't go unnoticed. The GWH is asking for patients and service users to get in touch with us and nominate a team or member of staff for the award.

The deadline for nominations is 5pm on Friday 16th March 2012. All shortlisted nominees will be invited to a special Awards Ceremony at Steam Museum in June where the winners will be announced.
