A survey on the future of the Town Gardens Bowl is being conducted by South Swindon Parish Council.

The council wants to gather residents' views about the potential use of the Bowl going forward and create what it promises will be a fantastic facility for the Swindon community.
A spokesperson said: "South Swindon Parish Council are working on a project to sympathetically renovate the Town Gardens Bowl and surrounding area, to bring facilities up to modern standards and to protect it for the benefit of the whole community.
"The Art Deco Bowl in Town Gardens opened in 1936 and is one of the last of its type surviving in the country.
"Over the years it has hosted a wide variety of outdoor performances, events and festivals, and as of 2024, is licensed to hold weddings, but the fabric of the Bowl and its back-stage facilities have become rundown over time and are in urgent need of refurbishment if they are to remain in use."
