Parents interested in sending their children to Swindon's newest primary school, the Catherine Wayte School in Abbey Meads, have the chance to meet the headteacher Gaye Ching at two drop in sessions at the Haydon Wick parish council offices, next to the Haydon Centre on:

Wednesday 12 April, 4pm to 6pm Wednesday 10 May, 5.30pm to 7.30pm

Construction is on schedule for completion in the summer, ready for the September opening. The school will initially share its catchment area with Haydonleigh and Abbey Meads schools.
