Another call for patients to use the NHS 111 service has been made by Swindon's Great Western Hospital.

Bosses at the hospital, which experiences consistently high demand, say the service is an easy way to get the right help 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, either online or over the phone.
Trained health advisors ask patients a series of questions before:
- Directing them to a local NHS service
- Connecting them to a nurse, emergency dentist, pharmacist or GP
- Arranging a face-to-face appointment with a local NHS service if one is needed
- Offering advice on self-care
A GWH spokesperson said: "NHS 111 can direct you to, or make you an appointment with, the right local NHS service for you at the time."
