Outdoor supplies firm Millets has named Swindon among the top 10 best locations for stargazing in the UK.
The firm analysed towns and cities across the country for light and air pollution ahead of the so-called Flower Moon of 23 May.
Flower Moons were traditionally said to spring from the abundance of flowers, and signal the arrival of spring in its full splendour.
It named Swindon as having the eighth clearest views, with the top spot going to Barnsley in South Yorkshire, followed by Northampton, York, Brighton, Bournemouth, Rochdale and Oxford.
Below Swindon in the Top 10 are Peterborough and Havering in London.
